Suit up for Space! Space suits past, present, and future as pixel sprites. My print for Mike Mitchell’s SPACE: The Gallery Show at Gallery 1988 West. 16” x 20” print, signed/numbered edition of 15. Available for purchase via Gallery 1988, while they last.
The gallery show runs for the next month, so if you’re around LA be sure to stop by and check out all the amazing work by some first-rate artists. Congrats to Mike Mitchell on putting together a great show with a fun theme that’s also tremendously important. This print was fun to make, as it gave me an excuse to research the history and development of space suits. It’s pretty fascinating - this Wiki is a good place to start, and this book is great for the connoisseur and provided me with a lot of good visual reference.
ugh I wish I could go see it ;___; this is so cool
Space suits past, present, and future, in pixel sprite form. Animated GIF preview of the print I made for SPACE: The Gallery Show, opening tonight at Gallery 1988: West. Curated by Mike Mitchell. It’s going to be an awesome show! Here’s the print - a limited number will be for sale via Gallery 1988.
Stoked to be a part of the Space! show at Gallery 1988 West in Venice, in the company of many great artists. If you’re around LA, come out to the opening Friday! The show is curated by the awesome Mike Mitchell, and NASA’s own “Mohawk Guy” Bobak Ferdowski is a special guest. I made a pixel art print for the show, I’ll post it later this week.
